Kitchari Kirtan
Answering the call of love with Tom Lena
Kirtan, or devotional chanting, is one of the most beautiful and expansive forms of bhakti yoga—the path of opening the heart through devotion and surrender.
Tom Lena offers Kirtans that nourish our joy with moods ranging from prayerful to celebratory. Kirtan only asks that we open our hearts so that we may wake up our souls and flow into grace.
Tom Lena has led Kirtan at Global Mala Boston, and in 2009 released his first CD. More about Tom at http://www.tomlenamusic.com/.

Chakra Balancing Workshop
With Michelle Herrington
Chakras are the energetic centers where universal life force, or "prana," moves through us. When they are balanced and open, they help maintain our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual equilibrium. When they are closed or vibrating at a weak frequency, they contribute to disease of the mind-body and can dampen our spiritual connection.
In this workshop, we will explore this dynamic, subtle energy by working with pendulum, visualization, asana and mantra techniques.
Come with an open mind and heart, and refrain from eating a full meal at least three hours before. If you have a pendulum, please bring it. If you don't, they will be provided for use and for sale. Namaste.
"Energy that moves through the chakras is the essence that connects us to ourselves, to other living things, and ultimately to God."
When: Sunday, March 21, 2010, 2 - 5 p.m.
Cost: $25
Please sign up at the desk, or call 310-521-9555.

Yoga Bindu and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital
Yoga Bindu is creating a way to donate money to St. Jude's Children's Hospital thrugh the energy from those who want to share. Here's how it works: The canvas with the OM symbol hanging at the far wall of the studio has a table below it with a box of rhinestones, glue, toothpicks, and a donation box. The intention is for one to say a prayer, a wish, an intention, or thought for whatever it is you want to put energy out to and then glue a rhinestone or two to the canvas within the OM symbol. The donation is whatever you want because it all makes a difference. When the whole interior of the OM is filled with rhinestones, the canvas will be given away in a drawing.
Spiritual Bathing
Spiritual Bathing is a centuries old art of moving the elements of your body to reconnect you with the energy between heaven and mother earth. It is a way to rid the body of a spiritual disease, unblock stagnant energy, increase awareness or clarity, and remove obstacles that block the paths in one's life.
Yoga Bindu is pleased to recommend Spiritual Bathing. For more information, or to book a bath, please go to www.SpiritualBathing.com.
